First time ever, Jaipurwitnessed a Mobile art gallery when a trail of painted auto-rickshaws grabbed everybody’s attention on the roads. The initiative was taken up by JaipurNagar Nigam and Cartistto give a kick start4 to one of the important events of Rajasthan. This moving art gallery was a part and parcel of the Resurgent Rajasthan, 2015. In order to attract investment from private sectors and to sensitize them for investment in the State, Government of Rajasthan embarked on a sustained investment promotion campaign over a period of time which included investor meets, events, conferences, culminating into Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit 2015. The summit was held on 19th and 20th November 2015.It brought together leading investors from all over the world, senior State government officials and local business community for interactions on investment environment and opportunities in Rajasthan
As a part of Resurgent Rajasthan, Cartistin partnership with JaipurMunicipal Corporation promoted Automobile Art. The Automobile Art from the Cartistcollection was displayed at the prominent venues of the City. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. VasundharaRaje. She herself sat in one of the auto-rickshaws and took a ride and appreciated how the culture and heritage of Rajasthan along with a modern touch is promoted through this very new concept of Automobile art.
