Veer Munshi is an Indian artist who was born in Srinagar Kashmir. He studied fine arts (painting) from M.S.University Baroda and now lives in Delhi/Gurgaon for the last 28 years. He has addressed a range of subjects in the course of his artistic career that spans over three decades but exile remains his most fundamental condition and pre-occupation. Munshi consistently used his art to reflect his anguish at the situation in his home state, his pain and struggle spilling over onto his canvas.
