Nitasha Jaini, born in 1963 Punjab, is an artist practicing in Delhi. Jaini’s paintings have a feminist narrative. Her central artistic concern is to change society’s mind-sets on the issue to gender inequality. Her art touches on social, as well as spiritual aspects of feminist discourse. She believes that women are becoming increasingly independent and financially secure.
