Seema Kohli is an Indian artist known for her paintings, sculptures, and installations. She was born in New Delhi and studied at the College of Art in New Delhi and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Kohli's artwork explores themes of spirituality, mythology, and femininity, drawing on both traditional Indian iconography and contemporary artistic techniques. Her paintings often feature vibrant colors and intricate details, with elements of gold leaf and other precious materials incorporated into the surface. Her sculptures and installations use a variety of materials, including bronze, wood, and fabric, to create three-dimensional works that engage with the viewer's physical space.
Today, Kohli continues to live and work in New Delhi, where she has a studio and is actively involved in promoting the arts and supporting emerging artists.
