"Jhakaas" Mumbai, city of dreams welcomed Cartist Yatra in a spirit which was inexplicable after traveling over 1200kms. The three-day event was held at the Veer Mata Jijabai Bhonsle Udyan, a lush green paradise in the heart of Mumbai where over 150 local artists (including students of JJ School of Art) performed live painting sessions on automobile art and thousands of Mumbaikars visited the event. To celebrate automobile art, an experiential act of live painting on Mercedes Cars was hugely enjoyed by thousands of visitors. This was an effort to promote the local artists to create absolutely exquisite works of art on rolling murals depicting both the city that the car is painted in alongside other art based themes representing social dimension.
