Dhruva was born in 1957, Kanjari, Gujarat . Studied MA, Faculty of Fine Arts, M SU, Baroda from 1974-81, then at the Royal College of Art in London from 1981-83 on a British Council Scholarship. 1984-85 artist in residence at Kettle’s Yard Gallery with a Fellowship at Churchill College in Cambridge . In 1994, solo show , Asian Artist Today- Fukuoka Annual VII , Japan . Returns to Vadodara in 1997. Dhruva was elected member of the Royal Academy of Arts in 1991 and Fellow of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, London in 1993. His work is included in group shows in national and international exhibitions and held in major public collections in UK, Japan and India. Appointed Professor, Head of Sculpture and Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.Uni. in May 1998 and quit in Dec 2002. Awarded Hon. CBE in 2001. A book on Dhruva Mistry is planned by Lund Humphreys, London . Award of Excellence by Gujarat Gaurav Samiti, 2006. Lives and works in Vadodara.–

Senior primetime news anchor, financial correspondent, producer, and Chief Editor-Auto – Siddharth has worn many hats during his many years at NDTV. He has conceived all the automobile based content for the NDTV network – including the annual Car and Bike Awards, and now heads the Auto Prime band of programming launched in 2014. He is one of the key drivers behind NDTV’s digital auto venture – carandbike.com – already the country’s 3rd largest auto portal. Siddharth also created India’s biggest auto quiz, which he hosts every year – the Mahindra AQ. Besides all this, Siddharth is the first Asian journalist to be appointed as a Director on the Steering Committee for the prestigious World Car Awards, and has served on that jury since 2010.

Himmat Shah was born in 1933 at Lothal in Gujarat. After initially training as a drawing teacher, he studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of M.S. University, Baroda, from 1956 to 1960. He was a National Cultural Scholar in 1956, and received a French Government scholarship to study etching at Atelier 17, Paris in 1967.

Shah was a member of Group 1890, a short-lived artists’ collective founded by J. Swaminathan. The then Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, opened the group’s first and only show in 1963.
In 2016, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art held hammer on the square, a retrospective showcasing Shah’s famous terracotta sculptures, bronzes, and drawings, along with lesser-known murals, burnt paper collages and silver paintings.
