A career civil servant with twenty years of wide ranging experience in governance, policy making and international trade negotiations. She has worked in the Ministries of Textiles, Industry and Commerce both at the Center and in her cadre state of Rajasthan, as also in Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs, and Science and Technology. Currently Joint secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
