Alumni of IISc- Bangalore, Saurabh completed his Masters in Product Design in 1999. From the beginning, he was passionate and had a strong inclination towards transportation design. After working on tractors, commercial buses & special purpose vehicles at Swaraj group, in early 2003 he joined India’s leading automobile company Maruti Suzuki India Pvt Ltd as a creative designer. This fuelled his love for car design that is going stronger by each passing year. In the last 17 years with Maruti. Saurabh played a key role in designing cars such as Esteem, Omni, Estilo, WagonR and Alto facelifts. In the year 2008 he worked as a lead exterior designer for Maruti’s first Concept car: A-Star and was awarded “Young achiever of the Year” – by Auto Monitor. In 2012, all New Alto 800 was launched under his guidance.
